IED Games Aug. 22, 2007 - Fort Irwin, California, USA - Soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division participate in complex war games at the U.S. Army's National Training Center at Fort Irwin in the Mojave Desert before they deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan. Soldiers receive the most realistic training possible for defeating improvised explosive devices (IEDs), roadside bombs, vehicle bombs and even terrorists laden with suicide vests.
