Ammonia Gas Leak Kills One in China Nov. 1, 2006 - Dawu County, Hubei, China - A victim receives medical treatment at a hospital after an ammonia leak at the nitrogen fertilizer factory Huangmailing Phosphorus Chemical Industrial Group. About 100,000 local residents were quickly evacuated from the factory. One worker died and six others were injured in the accident.
