Counting Chickens
Oct. 24, 2005 - Shanghai, China - Poultry Vendors sleep on cages in a chicken house at a poultry trade market. Earlier this week, a bird-flu outbreak sickened 2,100 geese in eastern China and killed about a quarter of them. The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed today that the birds died of the HSN1 virus near Tianchang, a city in the Anhui province.
