The Forgotten Ones
Aug 15, 2005 - Outside of Iriba, Chad - This Iridimi refugee camp is home to over 14,000 refugees who fled the conflict in Darfur after the Janjaweed attacked their villages.
An estimated two million Sudanese have been displaced, and over 200,000 have fled into neighboring Chad. Children are the smallest witnesses of horror, having seen their villages burned, their mothers and sisters raped and their fathers and brothers killed.
